Marquette Hopes for Victory at Paradise Jam

The Marquette Golden Eagles will try their hand against Norfolk State for the second time in a week. The two teams had their very first meeting on November 14 in Milwaukee. Marquette rolled over Norfolk, nearly scoring in the triple-digit range.
This time Marquette and Norfolk will face off in the championship game of the Paradise Jam Tournament, being held in the US Virgin Islands. Both teams won their first and second round games, resulting in another matchup in the finals.
Marquette Breaks Scoring Record during Tournament
Marquette managed to defeat Winthrop in the first round, before crushing Ole Miss 96-66. Norfolk had a close game against Drexel (who is now playing Winthrop for the seventh place title,) Norfolk had another close game where they took down TCU. TCU will now try to place third in the tournament.
The Golden Eagles are heavy favorites for tonight's game. In this tournament, they have made school history by scoring over ninety points in four consecutive games. They are also shooting an amazing seventy-five percent from the free throw line, and over fifty percent from the field.
